Google Play lets you have both public, beta and alpha releases of Android apps.
I have just published a beta release of DomDisc for Android. Version 1.3 beta 2.
If you would like to try out the beta, you need to go to this Google Plus community: DomDisc for Android beta. You need to enroll as a member of the community, and then you can click a link in the community that lets you opt in for the beta programme. If you want to opt out again, you visit the same link.
If you opt in, Google Play will automatically either upgrade or prompt you to upgrade to the newest beta of the app as they get released.
Version 1.3 beta 2 has these new features which of course will get available in the public version after the beta has been tested.
- When composing a new thread or reply, the app will start replicating right after saving.
- After having created a new Discussion Database configuration the app will start replicating right after saving.
- When done editing an existing Discussion Database configuration the app will start replicating right after saving.
- An option in the database configuration for disabling computewithform. Good when you use customized database templates and run into field validation issues.
